Brompton Design District, June 2008     31st May 2008

LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL 13 – 23 SEPTEMBER 2008

The Brompton Design District, now in its second year, is recognised as one of the most dynamic hubs of the London Design Festival. With a strong mix of iconic design shops, pop-up exhibitions in unusual locations and world-class institutions, the Brompton Design District will be showcasing more rising stars of new design alongside established figures.

“It would seem obvious that this area should be associated with contemporary creativity, given it’s extraordinary history, and it’s fantastic proximity to the big inspirational institutions and universities… so it’s good to see it at last teeming with creativity again, and the benefit to the area is already palpable.”

Tom Dixon, Designer
